Hao Liang’s exhibition at Gagosian Gallery in New York featured a series of his contemporary interpretation of traditional Chinese ink paintings, including his thirty-two feet (9.75 m) silk scroll painting.
The catalogue is 46-page accordion fold with the case and slipcase, representing the texture and finish of taditional chinese scroll book. The typographic treatment also references calligraphy in the tradition of scroll paintings.
